Collegiate Assessment of Academic Proficiency (CAAP)

The Collegiate Assessment of Academic Proficiency (CAAP) is a nationally-normed assessment program from ACT which measures outcomes of the general education programs at the end of the first 2 years of college. Offers six independent test modules, but the ones on reading, critical thinking, and science have possible overlap with Standard 3 from the  Association of College & Research Libraries’ (ACRL) Information Literacy Competency Standards for Higher Education published in 2000. Includes fixed-choice and writing prompts.
